Welcome to Day 20! My students will be challenged to keep on Slicing through a four-day weekend because we have two full days of parent/student/teacher conferences today and tomorrow. Deb Day (@mrsday75) wrote “8:15 on a School Day,” which was an idea she borrowed from her creative writing class. It’s a neat way to write about a minute in time.  Read over Deb’s slice and consider writing about a specific time in your day.  (Click here if you’re interested in trying this out with your students.)
